Housekeeping and Useful Information

Cooking

All Safari tents have a 2/4 gas ring cooker and there is a large cooler to store any foods you wish to cook and wine of course! We provide several cooking utensils, pots and pans, however if you would like to check with anything, please let us know so we can try and accommodate your request.

The Cwtch, Holly, Ash and Meadow have a firepit/bbq to use, whether it’s to toast marshmallows, or to just sit by during a chilly evening underneath the starry skies. We provide skewers (in the kitchen) and wood for the fire. The Ivy has a gas BBQ on the deck instead of a firepit.

Washing up

There is a sink inside the Safari Tents; washing up liquid, cloths and sponges are provided.

Water

We are connected to the mains, water from the taps is drinking water and there are lovely hot-water showers in each tent.

Keeping warm

Each tent has a log burning stove, heaps of cosy welsh woollen blankets and even hot water bottles, we are sure you will be warm on the coldest of nights. Tent layout plans can be seen on T&Cs page in the link at the bottom.

Bathroom

The Safari Tents have an en-suite bathroom with flushing loo, a shower, and a selection of fluffy towels. We provide eco-friendly hand wash, shower gel and shampoo.

Storage

There is plenty of storage space under the beds. There are also hooks and hangers for clothing. There is lots of space for buggies and bikes under the decking. If you have larger bags that you would like to store, please just ask and we can look after them for you.

Noise

Because of our peaceful setting, we do not accept bookings for parties, stag or hen events, and we do not allow dogs on site. Our focus is on offering a quiet, restorative glamping experience for families, couples and small groups who want to enjoy nature without distraction.

Accessibility

The Safari Tents are in wooded, secluded location’s and you should expect to walk at least five minutes from the car park.  Using a wheelbarrow to transport your luggage, you will travel along an stone path and rough terrain, meaning there is no direct vehicle access. Payment and Cancellations

We charge a 50% deposit on booking with the balance paid 30 days before arrival, you will be sent a payment link. We offer no quibble date moves, so if there’s a problem your end don’t worry we will do our best to accommodate new dates up to 30 days before arrival.

You can cancel your stay up to 30 days before expected arrival date and receive a refund minus £50 administration charge. If you cancel your stay within 30 days of arrival no refund will be given.
