Travel by public transport
You can get to By the Wye by bus and train, and then on foot.
The nearest bus stop is in the town itself approximately 0.6km away.
The nearest train station is Hereford, where you can either get a bus – No T14, No 39, or taxi for your onward journey. The train station is 21 miles /35 km from Hay on wye.
Travel by taxi
You can get a taxi outside the train station, where you should be able to find a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking
We have a car park less than 50 metres from the main entrance to the site. All parking is free for guests of By the Wye.
From the car park to the reception entrance, the access is sloped with an uneven surface.
The route is 1080mm wide, or more.
Arrival
From the street to the main entrance reception, there is a minimum gradient of 1:15 and the path is 1080mm wide or more.

Getting around inside
Your Canvas Cottage
All of the luxury tents have two bedrooms, further accommodation is in treetents.
The interiors are open plan for the kitchen and seating areas with separate bedrooms, all on one level.
All of the canvas cottages have separate ensuite bathrooms with an on demand shower and a real flushing loo.
The interiors have solar powered lamps and natural daylight, and usb charging points.
All of our luxury tents are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding upon request.
We can rearrange some of the furniture, to improve accessibility, please just ask.
We operate a Silent Night Policy throughout the site, please see the separate policy information.
Lighting around the site is very limited, nature friendly solar power and torches to keep our nocturnal friends happy. We advise bringing extra torches for use during your stay.
